It all started with drawing. I began sketching when I was very young - perhaps, 5 or 6 years old. The creative bug bit me early. It began with me recreating images of Superman, Thundercats, and He-Man by placing a sheet of tracing paper over an image and following the lines precisely to create a perfect copy. This is how I learned how to draw - by tracing the cartoonists of the 1980s. I owe a lot of my creative instincts to the Disney artists of the 1950's, 1960's and the mainstream cartoonists of the 1980's. It was their work that proved to be the first of my artistic and creative influences. With their guidance, it wasn't long before I exchanged tracing paper for a sketch book and started creating my own free-hand sketches.

Hello. I'm Chad. I'm what you would call a "creative type." I've spent the majority of my life fascinated, obsessed, and in constant engagement with art, sketching, photography, and music. Ever since I was a child, I've been fascinated by the pen strokes of the Genie from Disney's Aladdin, the composition of the frame from Raiders of the Lost Ark when Indie swops the golden statue for the bag of sand, or the B-E-Eb-Db guitar melody of The Beatles' "And I Love Her." There's rarely a moment when some form of creativity is not on my mind.
